Can iPod Nano play movies?  It can, but it is the third generation iPod Nano that is most suited for playing movies. You can get movies that are licensed to use on all the first, second and third generation iPods. The iTunes store is a site where you can download the movies directly. You can also find many online sites giving you movies that can be played on an iPod Nano. If you have any personal videos and digital movies, you can add them to the iPod manually.

Can iPod Nano play movies?  In order to be able to do so you have to sync the videos with the iPod. Do this by plugging in the iPod, and then dragging the videos you want and dropping them into the iPod folder. The ‘syncing’ icon will then appear as your videos are added to and synced with the iPod.

After you have done this, remove your iPod from being connected to the computer and go to the menu. Scroll down to the section where your videos are stored. Press the center button to select the folder. Once you do this, you will see the videos that have been synced. Now you can play movies on the iPod Nano.
